Jill Scott, a single parent?
Sigh, yes I am sad to report that Jill Scott and soon-to-have-been hubby John Roberts, has separated.
Only two months after the birth of there son. However Jill Scott is currently writing for her next album, she broke the news with Essence Tuesday, stating:
“John and I are no longer together”
“When you have a baby you’re dealing with a lot of emotions and I don’t know how much of it had to do with us breaking up”
Although she does admits they are no longer together, she says Roberts will continue to be by her side when it comes to their son.
“We definitely love our son and we are co-parenting and working on being friends. It is what it is. I have a lot of support, so I want for nothing as far as that’s concerned.”
awwww…. dag, Jill…. but the selfish person that I am can’t wait for this new album. Nothing makes an album sale like a good breakup.
