Omarion Speaks on Lil Wayne and the NON-label deal

Even though I found it odd and sorta strange how Omarion is constantly being passed around like a hoe in the industry, I was a little pleased with the new single he had under the Young Money Label. Only to find out that he was dropped while the song was debut. OK.OK. not dropped…. Omarion clears up these rumors in this recent statement:

“My idea when we were getting together was that we were coming into more of a partnership. But I’m a leader, and he’s a leader. When I thought about it and I really looked at the history of artists that do what I do, they’re never under the umbrella of a crew,” Omarion said Friday.

*side eye*

“When we were in the process of making the deal and the signing part, I wanna say it was roughly six to seven months, or maybe even a little longer,” Omarion tells MTV.

“To most people I know it seems like, ‘Well, that was fast.’ [Laughs.] I totally get it.”

(lol…really?)
